I usually hate reading these so I will be exceedingly brief.
I'm trying to get a "quick and dirty" sense of whether I would even stand a chance at admission based upon my undergraduate record.
Undergrad GPA 2.5 U-Mass;
PA school, Yale, (no numerical grades) good scores; 4yrs PA practice - 97th percentile on recert boards - frustrated with inability to assume full control of patient in most important situations.
Law school, U. Conn. 3.2; now doing medical malpractice defense and patent law: hate it (admitted to CT and U.S. patent office).
Problem: my undergrad GPA killed me. I believe I would do reasonably well on MCATS with prep.
.....miss medicine, and want back in badly; would do EM as residency.
worked with osteopaths, have respect for them, and would now like to become one.
Thanks.
