I Need Help Getting Started Part Ii

HI ALL,

Please can someone post replies for those of us who are lost! I will post my questions again and i really would appreciate any help and any answers...i saw several other postings asking for similar advice that were unanswered...so please help!



1.What period of time is enough to get a good mark? (I have maybe 1 month)
2.What is a good mark for residencies, specialties?
3.How do i get started, for those who wrote it, how many hours a day? did you memorize? (Sorry for sounding stupid, but I don't know how to plan this thing)
4.I browsed through the Kaplan book and there are GREAT DETAILS about mechanisms and so forth for like lipid and amino acid metabolism and such, did you find questions to this degree of detail?
5.How many times (for those who did good) did you end up going through the decks and tests?
6.I know they changed the format of the exam, do you recommend not writing this year?

study the decks properly( it depends on you either cram it or understand it ), do the question papers and be clear in your concepts.
it doest matter how many times you read the material,clear concepts are very necessary
