From my previous post, here are my stats:
I have a 3.77 GPA with a 510 MCAT score (C/P 128, B/B 128, CARS 124, P/S 130)
- about 600 volunteer hours including clinical/nonclinical
- about 45 hours of teaching (as an instructional assistant for a philosophy course)
- about 100 hours of shadowing
- about 120 hours of clinical employment (working at university infirmary)
- I'll be volunteering at least 500 hours as an EMT in the next few months.
I unfortunately also have two IA's for smoking weed, which I mentioned in my primary application as well as my previous post... I will be sure to include it in my secondaries and explain how much I've matured and learned since then.

I have applied to these 19 schools:

Albany Medical College
Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Boston University School of Medicine
Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science
Eastern Virginia Medical School
Emory University School of Medicine
Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University
George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences
Georgetown University School of Medicine
Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California
NYU Grossman School of Medicine
NYU Long Island School of Medicine
State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine
Tufts University School of Medicine
UCLA/Drew
UC - Davis
UC- Irvine
University of Connecticut School of Medicine
University of Massachusettes Medical School

Some of these schools I was told were just donations & I do not have the money and cannot afford to make any more donations so I was wondering if I could get some advice on which of these schools I have a good chance of getting into. I was also told to look into applying for DO schools and more private schools so I'd greatly appreciate any input on that as well. I will be doing my own research as well, I just wanted to have an idea of where to start.

Thank you so much.

I assume that you're from CA?

Add Touro CA, both Westerns, TUNCOM, PacNW, Creighton, Temple, Wake

If you are dead-set on starting medical school this upcoming year (regardless of MD/DO), I suggest adding a few DO schools to your list. Goro already recommended Touro CA, Western, and PacNW, but I would add a few others just to make sure you don't fall through the cracks.

I would add:

RVUCOM
KCU
PCOM
DMU

Thank you for taking the time to recommend these schools! I do plan on considering DO, I think with my ultimate goal of making a difference in my community with my passion for medicine allows me flexibility of going down either of the MD or DO routes. I just noted that I did recently move to NY so if this changes any of your recommendations, please let me know! Thank you again.
No changes. I think for medical school you gotta be flexible in where you are willing to go so these schools I would apply to regardless.
