I need a 185, anything over that is butter. I have 2007 FA and UW. Is that overkill? And I'm curious what kind of % I should be aiming for in UW to pass.

You gave us almost zero information to help you. If you know NOTHING, then UWorld and FA will not help, you probably need to crack a textbook.

OTOH, if you are in medical school, have passed your exams, and have a good plan of how to use FA and UWorld to orient your knowledge towards the test, it should be enough to pass.

there's no good data on this but, anecdotally, people who score around the average score for UW for a given block of questions (usually 50-60%) can expect a 200-220 on boards.

thats what I day.. and lets just say that I started out on the lower end..
