I read a post saying the FAFSA was due yesterday ? WTF ?

I read there was a financial aid deadline of yesterday for the FAFSA. Is that true ? I didnt fill out any financial aid forms yet. Am I screwed ?

Heck, I am first on a waitlist for the school I want to go to and was told I will be accepted in May. I didnt even think about filling out the paper work until then.

Please post any info you have on financial aid deadlines and requirements.

Schools have different deadlines, but the official federal deadline is a ways off. I'd contact the school's FA and let them know you didn't know about the deadline since you were on the waitlist and then fill out the FAFSA as soon as possible. Most schools want waitlisted applicants to fill it out anyway.

yeah some schools have their own deadline

many schools that i interviewed at had a deadline of march 1st to apply for fafsa
