What do you say we put together a MASTER thread on the surgical subspecialities. I am going to be a 3rd year here in about a week and I am very interested in pursuing a surgical speciality. I repeatedly see questions regarding the surgical specialities on this board. So, if you know a lot about one of these fields please be so kind to post your pros/cons including the all important (bracing for my pummeling) salary and lifestyle interests.

Currently my top pic is ENT, but after my Step I experience I'm doubting my chances on that. Interested in urology, Optho and Rads (I know its not surgical) too....

I hope something comes of this...
