So, I want to do specialty, but I cant decide what I want. The only thing that i know is i want to focus on one thing, whatever it is. General dentistry is not for me, its overwhelming and a lot of headache.

I guess my question, why do you want to do Ortho? why Endo ? etc...

How did you decide this is what you want??

I am ready to go back to school but I don't know what I want.

Thanks in advance

Shado a day in each specialization that you are thinking about. No specialist in your area will turn you down. Once you get that expose then you can decide or the next step is to start doing externships. Basically....the more exposure you get the more you will find your way

Spend time shadowing in every department while in school and then decide which specialty you are attracted to the most. If still unsure, do a year of GPR (good one) and you get to at least practice real dentistry where you will notice your weakness, strengths, what you like and don't like. Then if you are passionate about 1 area you can apply to that specialty.
