IA: how will it affect my chances with otherwise high stats?

Hello all,

I realized yesterday that I have an alcohol violation from sophomore year. I was ready to send in a strong application (I have a 3.94 from a top 20 undergrad, 522 MCAT, 1 publication) and I'm wondering how strongly this will affect my chances at schools with these stats.

Any IA success stories/reasons to believe I still have a shot at a top/high-tier? Anyone with similar stats experience this?
