If a school you haven't applied to emails you, is that a good sign?

I've received several emails from schools congratulating me on my performance (37 MCAT but slightly below average gpa's), how good of a sign is this?

Not bragging, just wanted to get some perspective.

They're just automated marketing emails. Don't read too much into them.

Got the same ones. Threw them out. Didn't place much weight on them. Wouldn't get too excited over it.

I got one last year from a school that had rejected my application a month earlier. I laughed and threw it out.

I think they're seriously interested in you, you should apply there ASAP

They're definitely interested in your secondary money, whether they're actually interested in you as an applicant is another story....

These are automated based on mcat score. Though your score is high, their cut off for these messages are much lower so no it doesn't mean much.
