If you have taken Step 2: how useful were Step 1 review books (BRS/FA etc)?

I guess this question is for people who has taken Step 2. Were these biochem/embryo/micro/First Aid (plus any other M2 related books) books useful for Step 2 prep? Even if you don't use them on a regular basis has anyone found it useful to look up stuff on occasion or wish you had kept them?

Um....I mean to post this under Step 2. Can one of the Admins do this for me?

Useless. Just keep whatever you used for biostats.

My Step II CK was heavily skewed toward Internal Medicine. I would say put your emphasis there but don't forget OB-Gyn and Peds. Not much surgery and psych (very common stuff) and a few biostats questions.

I agree with the above. I used FA and UWorld (both for step 2) and that was more than enough - no need to break out any old resources.
