did you receive any sort of confirmation?
and most importantly, did you get your deposit back?

i withdrew from mcp over 3 weeks ago...still nothing  and i'd prefer not to call unless i have to.

I think you should just call--especially sine you withdrew, calling is no big deal. It should only take a minute. Why would you rather not call? You could also send an email.

I withdrew from Case and got a survey in the mail two weeks later asking me to rank the reasons why I chose to withdraw. They didn't require a deposit, so I don't know...

Sorry this isn't helpful

hey player,

when did you interview at mcp? and do you mind sharing your stats?

I faxed letters declining my acceptances to 4 schools. One of them (Albany) said they needed
an actual signed letter. So far I've received my deposit back from Albany and USC. Both schools were pretty quick about sending the refund. MCPH has not refunded my deposit either. They were pretty disorganized about their interview scheduling too, so I'm not surprised. SLU is the other one who's not yet sent me my refund.

I agree with the e-mail followed by an official letter thing. It's prudent to be doubly sure they get the message from you as efficiently as possible.

ok, thanks for the feedback everyone...i guess i'll follow it up with an email if i don't hear by the end of the week.

Doctora Foxy...i prefer not to call cause i'm shy ...and i'd feel uncomfortable confirming/justifying my withdrawal over the phone, not to mention asking for $$ :)

CityIvy...i doubt i can be helpful; i interviewed and received an acceptance very early (october). stat's: 24/m/ny 5'10, 140lbs (but seriously i don't disclose #s aside to say they're on the high side)

I withdrew from MCPH and I received my returned deposit about a month or so later. Hope that is helpful.

i'm just paranoid about the 15th deadline ...after which time they can keep the $$

I sent my withdrawls vie snail mail. I have never received an acknowledgement. Only one of my schools required a deposit and they returned it within a month with no note or anything else acknowledging that I had withdrawn.
