I called AMCAS last week, and they told me they would put me on the priority list. I called again today, and the specialist said I wasn't on the list yet, so he put me on it today. They are soooo organized over there.

Sorry to throw in some pessimism...but have you considered that this "priority list" doesn't exist?

I'm guessing this list does exist, because I was processed two days after calling and being placed on this list. I highly doubt that this is a coincidence as my application hadn't been touched for months but suddenly I get the red X's and a day later I was verified.

Priority list. Supposedly I was on it for over a month. Didn't work for me.

I was also placed on the priority list last Friday, but nothing as of Thursday had happened, no email either. So I picked the phone up and dialed AMCAS, while waiting for a "specialist" to answer, brushed my teeth, visted the john for a few minutes, took a shower, got dressed, gelled my hair and I for those of you wondering: if you're very careful the phone won't get wet while in the shower. Anyway about one hour after I dialed some lady with attitude answered. She put me on the priority list. I guess the ***** last week bull-****ed me by tellin me he would place me on the list.

I was supposed to be on that 'list' for a month but 13 weeks later, nothin'...

Whatever with scAMCAS, I did what some of the others did and threatened legal action (followed up with a letter from legal counsel--which took two days, incidentally!). I'll let everyone know if that helps... 😉
