Fourteen weeks and no signs of the verification process. I called a "specialist" early last week and he told me he would fill a request form to put in the the "priority list". At this point I have absolutely no confidence in AMCAS or do I believe anything they tell me.

I'm aware some of you had lawyers write letters on your behalf. Maybe you can ask these lawyers if they're willing to write letters for premeds on this forum. He/She can charge us a reasonable fee and we can communicate with the lawyer via email.

SDN is a tight-knit community--lets pull resources.

I am more than sure AMCAS is aware of the problem(s) that they are experiencing.

Wasting their time with more letters that they need to sort through will most certainly not help the issue at all.

Just my humble opinion. 🙂

Good luck in your pursuit of medical school.

Don't listen to JPHazelton. I'm sure he's already been verified and so no longer holds a grudge against AMCAS. Go ahead and get a lawyer, that's what I'm doing. I say give AMCAS hell, God knows they deserve it.
