IM at Stanford or Santa Clara Valley Medical Center

Hi,
Does anybody know anything about these programs? Specifically, how competitive is Stanford and SCVMC IM programs and how nice are they to the residents? Also, what about quality of education and hours?

hi...well SCVMC is a very good hospital. nice doctors that care about the pateints. i am form the bay area so i know. it can handle level 1 trauma.

umm stanford....it is a really good hospital. good name. great people. REALLY PRETTY!

i dont know. why dont u actually go there and see for yourself.

Thanks for the feedback. I may be able to do one rotation, and since it would be through Stanford it can either be in SCVMC or Stanford Hospital. So, I need to choose between the two. I am leaning towards SCVMC. I think it may be slightly more within my reach.
