I've been through hell to pass the NAPLEX, and finally passed it last month in December. My primary jurisdiction is Massachusetts. The problem here is that I took the exam after my initial application expired. I was aware of the one year time limit, but I thought as long as I passed the two exams within one year of each other, I was going to be fine. My application was expired in July of 2016. I took the exam in December of 2016. I had called PCS (an entity hired by MA BOP to handle applications) in October prior to taking the exam to confirm that I was all set and to inquire about my ATT. They never mentioned to me that my application was expired and that I needed to pay all the fees again to reset the one year time limit. I got my ATT the next day and the green light to sit for the NAPLEX. I did not think twice that something wasn't right because why else would they let me take the exam if something was wrong. As I was trying to prepare for the MPJE, I get told that my passing NAPLEX score is invalid, and that I have to retake the exam again in order to satisfy the board's requirements.
I've been bawling my eyes out and I feel very emotionally distressed to the point that I thought about taking my own life to end this misery. I failed the NAPLEX once before so It wasn't easy for me to pass. After months of dedicated studying and not being able to sleep for 2 days before the exam, and going through the whole stressful experience of taking the exam. I get told that my score is not valid. Please tell me what I should do. Can I do a score transfer to another state?
Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated!
