i graduated from college 10 years ago.i made a twenty one on the mcat. i've taught science for 9 years now. i'm at the supplemental stage with 10 schools. my md friend says to stick with my state do school. i am freaking out. do all of these schools actually want to know more, or do some send a supplemental to everyone? here's the list:
une-com, osu-com, pcom, tucom, wcom, umd, uhs, kcom, lecom, and nsu-com.

Hello - well, some schools have cut-offs in order to receive a secondary application. For instance, at UNECOM, you must have a gpa of at least 2.8 & an MCAT greater than 18 to receive a secondary (if memory serves). Good luck & fill out those secondaries asap!

told us at the interview that they get 4000 primaries, they send out secondaries to only 2000 of those so there is an initial sceening.
After that they interview 400-450 and accept who knows how many after that. Good luck

Sounds like you've got some great experience.
Welcome to the craps table just roll the dice

UHS also has minimum cut-offs (must have 6's for
    secondary)

    eveshands,

I too was pretty worried going into applying this year because I have not been dealing with science at all for the past three and a half years. I do know that with KCOM, UHS and DMU that when they send you a secondary they basically want you. I got a secondary from all three of those schools, have been invited to all three for interviews and will be attending KCOM next fall.

Just keep that fire under your arse lit and you will make it.
