IM Research

Hey guys,

I'm a 2nd year medical student interested in IM at the moment. I'd like to know what kind of clinical research is valued by residency programs.

1. Chart review?
2. Quality improvement?
3. Outcomes research?

I know this may seem broad. I do have basic science research experience (nephrology), which I did as an M1, but I'd like to perform some clinical research during 3rd year. Just want to pick the right project.
