no it ain't med school...I have this science class...and the first exam I got 1 pt above average, the 2nd exam I got 5 points below average....

ok ok..so I got into med school, but this is my last freakin HONORS science class and I am forced to write 3 papers for this class 🙁 this is the deal...I have to get at least a B otherwise I won't get honors credit even though I've done all these papers....all for not!!! ARGH

this is the stupid part, it took 2 years of research work, and tons of honors classes to be eligible to graduate in honors with neurosci...this is the dumb part...my other neuro sci classes I had like As and I didnt do the honor requirement...this is the last one...and because of this freakin stupid class if I end up with a B- or lower...I wont get my honors diploma....@#$@#$@#$%@#$%%^&%@$!DFGDQ$%@$!$ 😡

what should I do...I have one exam left...but of all the three this module is the hardest....ARGGH

Man you are being way too petty. Give it your best shot, if it works out great if not big deal, you are in medical school. Any reward is overweighted. Just be happy you will be doing something with your life that you have always wanted to do.

I'm not sure if i can be of a lot of help, but hang in there. Try not to let the pressure make it harder. Maybe avoid thinking about how much weight everythign has, and just focus of learning it the best you could. Maybe ask for help (or pay someone) who is doing really well, or has done well in the class. Maybe you're not studying it the right way or something?

Try and prioritize stuff and try (I know easy for me to say) stay focused, and make sure you can devote to this as much as you think is neccesary.

Hang in there. I hope one stupid class doesn't stop you from honors. Is it too late to file pass/no pass option if you really think it's a lost cause to do well?

Dude, I'm there with you. I'm set to graduate with highest honors if I prepare a thesis (based on a year of research) and maintain my grades. Problem is, I'm failing P. Chem. If I don't pull a B, I will likely be passed over for both highest and high honors. If I get a C, I may even be out of contention for graduation with honors...which will nullify all of my research activity and the thesis I will have prepared.

I may even have my acceptance pulled. Talk about stress!!!

I feel for ya, man! Hopefully things will go well for us.

I find it funny that I've excelled in all of my other chem classes but can't even pass this P. Chem II class. 😡

Haha. I'm sooo far behind on my senior thesis. It's getting a little insane. I have no idea how I'm going to finish it off. I can still graduate without honors if I don't finish my thesis, but I'm a little scared to do that, med school wise. And I just wrote a midterm today that I got killed on! It was horrible.

Nice to know that other people are in this same position. I could actually drop out right now and still graduate with a 3 year degree (double major), which Canadian schools would be fine with, but somehow I don't think many US schools would like that... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Been there, done that... week before spring break was the worse week of my college career. Three exams, four problem sets due (two of which are given by this prof... great teacher but works your ass off... each p/s of his takes like 12 hours to do). Come back from spring break, end up getting 29/50 on one exam (not bad, I was in the top 20% of the class), an A- on the other, but I got like a C on the last exam. Talk about rough... And thesis... my God, brandonite hit it on the money. my thesis brings me great pain but I'm thinking this is an undergrad thesis, so they can't be expectin too much. Heck, a lot of my friends are so behind their supes had to rethink their initial plans. Anyway, do not worry... just a couple more months and this will all be over. No more useless undergrad.

I felt exactly the same way as all of you before I graduated. Just sit tight and work your butt off for a little longer cuz it will all be over soon.

You don't want to throw away all of the hard work that you put in for 4 years....so I suggest you find a cure to the senioritis and get to work!

I have probably put in a total of 30 hours so far on my thesis. Yes, I know, that is horrible... 🙁

It is becoming a very, very serious problem... Starting very soon, I'm going to have to be spending many evenings and weekends on it.

Ugh. Looks like I'm going to have a fun end to my undergrad life. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

I haven't even started my thesis!!! I keep wanting to, but assignments and surprise tests pop up.

I'll get started on the 21st. I have to have it submitted to my prof by April 5th! Fortunately, I have a couple "progress reports" (~20 pgs a piece), so I can merge them to squeeze out a paper. The final draft must be submitted by April 19th.
