IMG and Osteopathic residency

Hi..

Are IMGs eligible for applying to osteopathic residency? Does any one know in details about IMG and DO residency?????

You have to have attended an Osteopathic medical school and taken the COMLEX to be eligible for and Osteopathic residency. Since there are no foreign DO schools, the answer is no, IMGs aren't eligible.

All that said, there is discussion within the AOA to let MD grads apply to DO residencies, but I don't see that happening in the immediate future.
