Hey,
So I'm a US IMG who just graduated from a medical school overseas. I've always been interested in healthcare management in addition to medical practice.
I'm going to be applying for residency in internal medicine in a couple of years and will be part of a clinical research team (in the US) until then. My question is, would it be worthwhile for me to pursue an online MHA during these next two years?
I really like the idea of doing something like that but I don't know what the general perception is regarding these programs. I'd hate to put the money and effort into one and then not have it be properly recognized.
And also, in the place where I will be living the US, there aren't any MHA programs at any of the local universities, so my only option is to do something on-line. What do y'all think?
