Hi!
I am a IMG pre-med from Austria, Europe and will start medical-school in 2017.
Is it possible to gain 'clinical experience' (in form of an observership, internship, participation in a research-project, ...) before attending medical school?
I am aware that 'real' clinical experience might not be possible at this stage but am wondering what kind of options an IMG has to get familiar with the 'US-medical-system' before attending medical school.
Currently, I am enrolled in a bachelor-program in chemistry / computer science which I will complete in autumn 2017...
Thanks, k1dCr4p.
