Does anyone know what kind of things pedo residence do that requires them to be in house at some programs.

Does anyone know what kind of things pedo residence do that requires them to be in house at some programs.

It's pretty much minor trauma and infections. Same things if you were at home they just want you there so you can't tell them to come in to clinic the next day.

One program I visisted had in-house call. They said it pretty much had to do with the hospital requirements and ranking/accredidation to be a higher tier or whatever hospitals pride themselves in being labeled as.
