I am currently going to college in New York and my mother has been living in Georgia for a year or so. I want to apply to Dental College of Georgia in Augusta but they only take in-state residents. I was wondering if I would be eligible for instate residency in Georgia since my mother is living there.

Probably, but your application has to reflect Georgia OR New York, you can't be in-state for both.

What's more important to you, getting into Georgia or Stony/Buffalo?

does your mother claim you as a dependent on her taxes? do you list her residence as your permanent residence? do you have a georgia driver's license?

if so, then you should put georgia as your state of residence on your aadsas application.
