inconsistent verbal scores

I bought the examkracker's 16 mini-mcats (20min sections) and I'm doing pretty badly on the verbal sections. I've practiced on the kaplan verbal books and usually get 9-12 on them. With these examkracker's verbal sections, like I've been consistently scoring like 50-60% on them, which is probably like mcat score of a 5.
