Hi,
I am filling out one of my secondaries and I am stuck on this question: "Have you done independent research or study?" I have done research as a paid job for the last year and have written a paper and done some talks, however, does this qualify as independent research? I did do the research independent of school obviously, however, I still get the feeling that this is now what the question is asking for. I'm just don't know if I should call that "independent research". Does any wise person out there have a sec to clarify the definition of independent research?
