Indian IMG hopeful

Hey everyone.

I'm an Indian IMG, hoping to crack the MLEs hopefully later this year.

I wanted to know from someone who's been there before how you managed your stay in the US during interview season. While I do have relatives there who would be happy to host me for a couple of days, I don't want to impose on them for a longer period. I also know that it's impossibly expensive to stay in the US for any duration without any income. So, how do you manage? Also to make 2 trips, one for Step 2 CS and then to return later for the interviews is really costly.

Any advice, views, opinions - highly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Come on, you guys. Help a fellow aspirant out. Don't tell me none of you have faced this scenario. Please share with the rest how you arranged your interviews.

hi paheli, not sure this is going to work but you can try posting your question in the general international discussion forum. i'm sure the concerns you've written about aren't faced by indian IMGs alone.
