So my school has a formal process to get a committee letter that is not available to recent alumni due to budget constraints...i asked the Director if i can go through an informal process where one of my writers just compiles all the letters (which would be sent directly to her) into a committee letter through an informal process..and she said the committee wouldn't stop me from doing that...what do you guys think? would this fly with adcoms? i have 10 individual letters that can be compiled into 1 committee letter..so a committee letter would be ideal..

and is it required that all individual letters be sent along with the committee letter? if yes then whats the point of having a committee letter if the adcoms are going to read the individual letters anyways?? this is assuming that a committee letter just summarizes the individual letters

thanks for the help and advice!
