I am looking for Physicians and Resident Physicians who work at hospitals that use Epic. Mayo Clinic is implementing Epic and I need physicians who understand Epic to assist the physicians at Mayo Clinic on how to navigate their new software. This is a great way to gain additional Epic informatics experience and network with Mayo physicians.

As Epic Physician Support, you will play a critical role in providing answers and helping other physicians and hospital staff go through a smooth implementation and get up to speed. Chosen for your strengths as a communicator, and problem-solver, you will:
• Lead and reinforce standard workflows and best practices
• Provide at-the-elbow support for users within your department
• Mentor staff in using applications by being approachable and available
• Prioritize patient care safety at all times
• Assist to resolve workflow or application issues
• Educate staff about upgrades

Project Dates:
April 29th – May 18th

Epic Clinical Activation Requirements:
• At least one (1) years of Epic experience in a hospital setting
• Must be in at least your 2nd year or residence
• Must be able to support the Units up to 12-hours a days
• Must be available from the start of the project until the expected end date (a minimum of 2 weeks)

Next Project Start Date: April 29th – Rochester, MN | Expected End Date: May 18th
• Substantial Compensation and Expenses Paid/Reimbursed
• Daily Per diem

Mayo Clinic is recognized for high-quality patient care more often than any other academic medical center in the nation. In fact, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has been recognized as the best hospital in the nation for 2017-2018 by U.S. News and World Report and has more number one rankings than any other hospital in the nation. The Mayo Clinic mission is to inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, and research. You can be a part of this mission by assisting physicians and staff in implementing the new EMR system through their EPIC Go-Live project. EPIC will help provide safer, more efficient care but will also bring changes to how that care is provided.
