inhouse (university) background checks

    do med schools check up on a student's disciplinary record? nothing is on my transcript.

    let's not get into a ethical debate here guys :D

    background checks are almost always performed, I believe. I think AMCAS may even run them for the some schools.

    oh, school disciplinary record, not a criminal background check.

    hmm, I dunno. I've never heard of it being done, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
