My transcript clearly says Winter 1995 (for academic year 1994-1995).

Should I follow the instruction in "help" section, thereby putting Winter 1994 because this was part of 1994-1995 period, or put it exactly shown on my transcript Winter 1995?

Absolutely correct. It is the academic year starting with summer session through and including the following Spring semester.

Thus, the academic year 2000 begins with the summer session of 2000 through and including the Spring semester of 2001.

Thanks for the reply. Just to reiterate, even though my transcript says winter 1995, put winter 1994 since it is still part of 1994 curriculum. Correct?
