i agree, it is really interesting.

just throwing this out there... at what point does acceptance of a mental illness like bipolar disorder become harmful? at what point does it become similar to the websites mentioned in this post in the NYTimes health blog? acceptance of bipolar disorder as an alternate way of processing emotion could potentially slide down the slippery slope towards acceptance of anorexia as an alternative lifestyle.

i'm not advocating any particular point of view, just pondering.
