being that usually people with insane stats post on this forum, i was wondering if people had good stories of people who had "average" stats that got in .. straight up, waitlist, or whatever! this process is so crazy, I figured we need to hear a bit from those that "beat the odds" --- talk to me

Post those stories. Or do you not get in with average stats unless you have something exceptional about you?

Howdy my friend...you already know about me, but I guess others could use some encouragement. I got into two schools (Rush and Loyola) with my 28 MCAT and 3.6 Northwestern GPA. I don't think there's anything who knows what exceptional about me...Good luck to all and keep the hope up.

Call me a dirty lying bastard, but I think that most of the people that get in have 'average' stats. Lil' math trick I picked up in Real Analysis.

Hope that Helps.

Lol!   Though I don't remember discussing anything that useful in real analysis, mostly I remember lots of epsilons and deltas...
