I just interviewed at temple and my interviewee was praising their new 'integrated' approach which he feels is more effective for students. The students I talked to also liked how there is essentially only '1 class to study for at a time.' Any thoughts from either side?

The description from their website, http://www.temple.edu/medicine/education/mdprograms/medical_education/index.htm, is very brief.
I don't know what you mean, by them studying for only one class at a time. Do they have just one course for one to three weeks and then move on to the next one?
I know of several European universities that have that kind of curriculum schedule, but I don't know how universal it is over there.
If that is the case, then I would not prefer it as retention of information from that kind of cramped single course scheduling would likely be decreased in comparison to a traditionally scheduled course.
