Would anyone please explain me what are the differences between inter and intrachromosomal recombinations?

interchromosomal would be things like crossing over and independant assortment. Intrachromosomal I would guess inversion, deletion, insertion, etc but im not entirely sure... just a guess and a bump lol

First half of alexendars statement is right. The intra chromosomal recombination..the only thing I can think of is either if there's a double crossover which could..somewhat be classified as a intra chromosomal recombination. The other thing that crossed my mind would be transposons, which have the ability to relocate itself at will once its genes are transcribed and translated but I don't think MCAT will cover that unless it's in a passage.
