Hi,

I am interested in interventional pulmonology and was wondering if anyone could provide insight into if I had a chance in matching, and if so, how big/small of a chance that may be. I have looked around, and it seems more challenging to get a decent answer by looking strictly at the data. Hopefully someone who has gone through this can share some info. Much appreciated in advance.

Statistics:

US-DO graduate, currently a PGY-2 at medium to large community program in a large midwestern city. In house CCM only fellowship.

Boards:

Step 1: 225
Step 2: 250
COMLEX-1: 560
COMLEX-2: 570
COMLEX-3: 630

Did not have to take COMLEX-PE (thank God)

Research:

Not a lot at present, currently working on retrospective cohort study (CCM related), and 2 posters. Hope to get more during second year.

SO, barring any horrible failures in residency, and decent to good LOR's, what are my chances of a decent pulm/CCM fellowship??

Thank you all so much!

I wish I had those scores.
You are set.
Just do some poster presentations, etc.
