Dear hard working dental ladies and gentlemen.

If you are like me who are interested in specialty or advanced residency, let's talk about it!

Now I do not know much at all and I need to ask this question foremost of all.

Can you apply to more than one field of specialty?
i.e. applying to both pedo and perio at the same time for example?

Ok - here's what I think. Applying to 2 specialties at the same time (like Pedo & Perio) can't look good b/c you don't know what you want to do. At least that's what I've heard. You can apply to a specialty and a GPR at the same time, so if you don't get into the specialty and want to do a GPR, you can.

Does pass allow you to have a separate personal statement for each program if you were to apply to both?
