One of our attendings forwarded this along to us, I always enjoy reading his stuff and he brings an interesting angle to the health-care cost debate. Not sure if his solution is feasible the way things are now (as he admits it would easily take >10 yrs -- but wouldn't any major change?), but I have a really hard time disagreeing with most of what he says...
