I know there is almost no proof in what I am about to propose, but I have had personal experience to suggest it might work.

When choosing a university to take the MCAT at, choose one in which the quality of education is less than yours. Last april, my friends and I took the MCAT at different universites different than our own. They both chose universities with poorer academis requirements, as I on the other hand chose the top university in the state to take the test. They both did relatively well compered to me.

Now consider this, we were both equal in ability and test scores prior to taking the MCAT. However, the local university (dumber schools) students in which they took their test helped to increase their scores. While the smarter students from where I took the test helped to lower mine.

I know this is all hypothetical so don't go belittling me for the thought, just consider the possiblity.

yeah, its on a nation wide scale- not just within one university- Which means your score wasn't lowered- its your actual curved score
