Anyone here ever consider majoring in interior design or something closely related to that? It will be kind of hard to get my pre-req's for med school in, but I was seriously thinking of Interior Design. Anyone else with me on this?

Its certainly not a bad idea to use your undergrad to take courses &/or major in something you enjoy. Once you're in med school, everything is dictated for you.

Interestingly enough, I tried to find a way to do the same thing.😀

Once I had it all figured out, though, I realized I would have to spend five years in school, and financial considerations put an end to that thought...Luckily, I find science pretty fascinating too so doing a bio degree isn't too much of a hardship. I get my artistic kicks in other places: I take ballet class, I subscribed to a bunch of interior design magazines, I haunt the library for design books, I got some virtual interior design software...

My house is my test palette...right now it looks kind of crazy since it's in process and my husband thinks I'm weird for planning each room out on the computer-I'm trying to persuade him now that our bedroom furniture needs to be stripped and restained darker (of course, he's not going for it so I'll have to do it myself🙄)

Do what you want if you can find a way to do it-you'll be a lot happier in the end😀
