Are there any sites with reviews of osteopathic internship and family medicine residency sites? I would like to know what interns have to say about their programs.

    Thanks

Have you tried scutwork.com -- there are a number of osteopathic programs listed there.

Union Hospital, NJ is pretty good. The attendings love to teach and the call schedule is pretty benign. The patient load varies secondary to whether you are the only intern on floors with your resident or if there are two interns per resident. If alone, then you will carry 12 to 18 floor patients. If in a tag team then you will carry half.

Call is Q4, but this depends on how many interns are in the program during your year. It might be Q5 or Q6 in the future.

Rounds are very low stress but informative.

The patient pool is shifting from predominantly geriatric to a good mix of 25 yo and up. You see everything. Hope this helps.
