INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
The Center is an independent not-for-profit community health center serving the health care needs of residents of Northern Manhattan for more than 30 years.
THE ROLE
The Staff Internist is responsible for helping to maintain a high quality medical program and ensure adequate and appropriate care is provided to all patients. Reports to the Medical Director.

- See adult and geriatric patients, as well as adolescents
- Coordinate with other physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Telephone triage once per month
- MD from an accredited medical school with at least two years experience
- Current license to practice medicine in New York State.
- Demonstrated verbal communications skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong administrative as well as clinical skills.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice preferred
- Experience with HIV or Geriatrics patients preferred
