International applicants and Texas med schools

Does anyone know how Texas medical schools view international applicants? I know they want you to be a texas res but what if you are waiting on your green card?

You get treated just like any out-of-state applicant. This means it is harder, but certainly not impossible, to get in to Texas schools.
