Hello, I am a Canadian DO student. I am very worried about doing residency in the US. Is there anyone who is a Canadian or international DO students or residents that can shed some light on how an international DO students can get residency in the US?

    Thanks

Can you please clarify whether you are attending a Canadian school or a US school?

Don't worry about it. It won't be a consideration. The main problem with PD's not wanting International students (meaning graduated from non LCME/AOA program), is the fact that they get $100,000 from the government (medicare) per resident instead of the $200,000 they get from an "American grad" Since you graduated from an AOA school, they get their money and they are happy. Again, don't worry about it.
