I'm junior(3-rd yr.) medical student in Georgia (former soviet union)I'd like to study abroad at least for a year or engage in summer research program in Europe or USA.I've strong command of research experience. Will anyone help me in obtaining info?

Hi there. I'm based in the UK, and although I don't know a great deal about research opportunities there, you could try e-mailing or ringing the universities which offer medical degrees (there are 24 - for a list try www.nams.org.uk (National Association of Medical Students) or www.studentmedics.co.uk) A site to post a similar message to this where people might know the answers is www.mds.qmw.ac.uk/admissions/new_forum.html

Basically, as long as you have decent grades and can fund yourself reasonably well during your research, I don't see why there should be any objections. Good luck
