Internship Ideas

Hey friends!

I'm trying to score an internship for summer 2018, but am running out of places to look. I've done 2 years of laboratory research, so I'd like to move on from that and try something new. I'm most interested in infectious disease epi, but I'm open to anything to gain the experience. I'm willing to travel and it does not have to be paid!

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look?

I was able to get an internship by emailing my state's health department, even though nothing was advertised! It was unpaid but I had a great time. Worth a shot.

I once did an internship in the TB dept at my local county health dept.
