Internship in the UK as an EU-Medical Graduate

I'm a non-EU citizen currently studying medicine in Ireland. I'm expected to graduate in 2025 and wanted to know what the process was like for applying for an internship in the UK as every video or website I look at online is targeted to those who do not have a REQ and need to take the PLAB. I know the UKMLA is supposed to be in place from 2024, but do EU graduates have to take it as well because on the official website it just says all UK doctors and those from outside the EU have to take the exam.

Finally, as a non-EU citizen, what are my chances of getting an internship in the UK?
