Is it bad if manslaughter is on your permanent record?

I'm giving a series of interviews to medical professionals and related fields, (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN...), and I'm making my questionnaires. What questions would you ask to contrast their careers? What questions have you asked that made you go, "Well, who woulda thunk...?"

I'd love to hear your suggestions even if you think they are obvious; they might not be for me. Also, for a good time, PM me if you're too shy to post.

Thanks guys,
Caboose.

Are you asking for us to supply questions that you can use?

Because your line "What questions have you asked... that made you go, 'Well, who woulda thunk...." is confusing.

Why would someone ask a question that made themselves wonder about their own question. I assume you intend that particular response to be in reference to the response of the question that we asked.

j/k I'm a confuser.

How about: "Have you ever done work or a job for something other than monetary compensation?"

Does sexual compensation count?

I feel like that could open up a lot of SKETCHY things.

If your parents could do it all over again, would they still have had you?

Right, I'm sure the interviewer would be like, "well, hmmm... I guess maybe they wouldn't have had me."

Here's one that popped up in a mock interview I watched - Is medicine a battle with death? You can carry out this question for quite some time and see how the interviewer thinks about it.

btw caboose did you ever finish that book of yours? 😀

hmmm what the deuce, where'd my signature go?

here's one:

"Why do you have an ego"

"...I don't"

"Why do you act like you have an ego"

"...I don't"

"Why does everyone think you act like you have an ego"

LOL

I don't understand any of this thread

Bwaha!

"Why would someone ask a question that made themselves wonder about their own question."

By God, you're right! I always wondered why I do that, but then I think that maybe I shouldn't think about it...

Thanks for the question! I think I will pass on anything to do with cockiness of any type, however your guys' suggestions are on the wait list.

Crazy_Cav - you remembered my book! Yup, finished. I might make it a tad bit lighter someday because there sure is a lot of blood and gore. Some people like it, but my family is eyeing me suspiciously. Think I should tell the admissions committee what I'm publishing? Hehehe.

Caboose.

more questions... do it - you know you want to... I'll put it on the website and you can have personal satisfaction of knowing it was your idea.

why am i so confused

why has caboose's avatar re-introduced the idea of getting a xbox360

how is something even re-introduced

Mr. Adventure - you just scored points with God for spreading the word about RvsB.

I'm adding a new category. I realize that I have stirred more thought about my crack habit status than my questionnaire, but I am serious... <obscene thoughts and internal giggles>.

I'm adding a category to my little interviewing process. I need to find someone that DIDN'T go into medicine. Not someone who is not jaded and working at a job they hate, but someone who found another career path. I don't think I've read any interviews that testify that side of, "Medicine is not for everyone."

If you know someone in this category that would be willing to answer a few questions, will you PM me?

O.k., I'll let this thread be whisped away in the autumn breeze and be crushed on the SDN highway.
:scared:
