• ASAP start
• M-F, 8a-4p
• 15 patients per day
• Level III Trauma
• 212 bed facility, 12 ICU beds
• All ages, a lot of geriatric
• EMR: Cerner
• Willing to look at providers who can do locum to perm, or perm only.

Procedures Required:

• Balloon Angioplasties
• Coronary Angioplasty
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Heart Catheterization
• Coronary Angiograms
• Embolic Protection
• Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair
• Carotid Artery Stenting
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• Atherectomy
• Complex Lower Extremity Revascularization (Limb Salvage)
• Medical Management of Vascular Disease
• Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
• Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT)
• Sclerotherapy
• Foam Sclerotherapy
• Vein stripping
• Thrombolys

*Must be comfortable taking STEMI call and doing basic intervention

• Clean malpractice and background - Highly Preferred

Job Description​

locum to provide immediate Interventional cardiology coverage for the Cath Lab and call for Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey
URGENT NEED:
11/29 (6am) – 12/06/2021 (6am)
12/13 (6am) – 12/20/2021 (6am)

12/24 (6am) – 01/03/2022 (6am)
Providers need to have a clean background (no actions or databank hits) for quick credentialing.

Facility will reimburse for flight/housing/rental car

Providers must have active MI license and CSR at time of submission
Please note: We are currently pending a practice description for this need

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS​

BC or BE (w/in 5 yrs of residency) - Required
BLS - Required
MI license & CSR at time of submission - Required
Clean background with no actions (minimum malpractice is OK) - Required
All candidates should have prior experience (completed Fellowship with minimum of 2-3 years of experience)- Required no exceptions
All candidates use radial access for caths- Required no exceptions
Provider must practice by radial approach - Required

Locum - Physician - Interventional Cardiologist Schenectady, NY

• Starting January 2022-July2022
• Will consider Locums or Locums to Perm
• Reason for coverage: Transition period between new perm doc
• Schedule: 3 lab days & 2 clinic days
• Call schedule: 1:4 night and weekend
• Practice setting: Clinic, inpatient call, and outpatient
• Other interventional cardiologists will be present during locums coverage
• Locum will be required to supervise other health care providers
• Patient demographics: 18 and older
• EMR: MedNet / Cerner

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS​

• Board Certified (Cardiology & Interventional Cardiology) - Required
• Active NY license - Required (will accept pending status is already applied)
• Local Candidates(client will only cover mileage reimbursement) - Required

• Jan 10 7a – Jan 17 7a

Inpatient only
Hospital call coverage only, 7a-7a
Patient volume varies - 3 consults per day, 2 procedures per day
Trauma level II
18 ICU beds, 18 tele beds, and 10 CMU beds
APP support - APP's- M-F 1-2 APP's are staffed during the day, weekends- 1 APP for 5 hours/day
Interventional cardiology procedures required
TEE's would be highly preferred. Balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs and IFR are important.
STEMI volumes vary greatly. In 2020 they averaged 3 STEMI activations per week
