Quick question: Is it absolutely imperative for any interviewee to wear a suit? I was wondering if I could be presentable and save money at the same time by coming in with just a formal, long-sleeved shirt with tie and matching pants.

Also someone told me to carry certain documents to the interview as they might be needed.

yep that is what I'm planning to do 😉

good luck with all your interviews..

by the way, what are your stats 😀

I would definitely invest in a suit. Suits have long been the standard for interview attire. Having just interviewed and hired an administrative assistant at my office, I can tell you that those people that were more professional in their appearance definitely earned some points (although their snappy wardrobe would never have made up for any deficiencies in their resumes!) This is not to say that you should sell your first-born to buy a suit. If money is a real issue, then by all means go with the shirt and tie.

Just buy the suit...how much have you sank into this already?
I am up to about 4000 ....
just buy the suit...
