I have just received a letter requesting that I come in for a third interview at a med school at about the time I was to receive my yeah or nay notice. My first two interviews were sort of bad cop good cop. The inital was a basic science person who gave me grief about my course choices and taking a year off and just about anything else I said. My stats are above average for this school. I am assuming I am called back because of disagreement between interviewers and his doubts. My second interviewer was laid back and encouraging. Any advice or experience in facing this? Thanks

On your third interview, don't express any negativity about your first interview. Be gracious and enthusiastic and you'll get in. Break a leg!

thanks for your support I hope you are right. I can be gracious but I can't change the facts of courses and year off.
